No one likes getting a shot, but getting sick with the flu is definitely not something anyone wants to do. So, we decided to have a little fun with what is often considered a painful process.
Brown Clinic’s annual flu shot clinics allow their patients to walk in, with no appointment needed, and walk out with a defense against the flu. We created a bright, light-hearted campaign that showed getting a shot didn’t have to be inconvenient and that helped ease the pain of getting a flu shot.
These photos were used in print ads, social media posts, posters and billboards to show that getting a shot doesn’t have to be a scary experience. We used a variety of models to help reach all ages and promote the importance of everyone getting the flu shot.
Then, to tie the campaign together, we created custom band-aids that would organically carry on the message of flu defense with every patient that got a flu shot.
