Two Years In The Making

At the end of 2019, McCrossan Boys Ranch sought help from Media One to provide communications for their upcoming Chamber Appeals Capital Fundraising Campaign. The $2.965 million campaign was planned to begin in April 2020, but due to COVID-19 was delayed for two years.

The campaign would allow for two additions to the McCrossan academic buildings and a new multi-use athletic complex.

Spurring Success With Creative
As a working ranch, the equine therapy component of McCrossan’s programming is the most visible and one of the most impactful elements of the care, responsibility, and treatment the boys experience during their time at McCrossan Ranch.

When the word SPUR came up in our creative discussion, our team thought that using that word in combination with the word Success was a great way to label the campaign and effectively speak to potential donors.

The accompanying icons represent education, athletics, a horseshoe, and a horse. Your eye naturally follows each quadrant of the mark around, eventually bringing you full circle. Which is exactly the type of all-encompassing education and treatment the boys receive during their time at the ranch.

Lending A Helping Hand

After being delayed due to a pandemic, the Spur Success campaign successfully launched in the summer of 2022. This campaign is much more than a creative job. It brought together the best minds and ideas for one goal, to help these kids receive the resources they need to live happy and successful lives.
