After 20 years as a media buyer, Molly says it's essential to be open to different perspectives. "Sometimes it's easy to disregard an off-hand idea, but sometimes those crazy ideas turn out to be the best solutions." Molly works hard to stay on top of the media landscape, bringing unprecedented value to her clients.Relevant skills
Molly has worked with a wide range of clients, including those in the following industries: travel/tourism, healthcare, ag, education, political, and business to business.
She is adept at working the media process from start to finish – from initial client strategy and goal-setting, to setting marketing and media objectives, she carries her talent through to the media buying and negotiating steps on behalf of her clients.Experience
Molly has been a media professional for decades and has worked on campaigns for organizations like the South Dakota Office of Highway Safety, Sanford Health, and the South Dakota Department of Social Services.
Since 1998, she's gained experience as a media planner, buyer, and director for various agencies and now has been doing freelance work for the last five years. It's safe to say she loves the variety! In her own words
"Clients really benefit from having a media buyer, because we are ‘non-denominational.' We're only interested in their success and work hard to efficiently guide them there. At Media One, I love those days when we're bringing on a new client or project, and the team works to build from the ground up. So much unique thinking happens in that space that can really move people into action, which is why I really love my job."Education
Molly is an SDSU grad with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an Advertising focus. (Go Jacks!)Interests
When she's not working, Molly loves to spend time at the lake with her family, attending her daughters' activities (Taylor – 15, Katie – 4), cheering on SDSU sports, and reading.
